Andrew Bosworth—or Boz, as most people know him—is Meta’s CTO and Head of Reality Labs, responsible for driving the company’s efforts in augmented reality, virtual reality and more. This work is foundational to Meta’s broader efforts to help build the metaverse.
Boz joined Facebook in 2006 where he invented tools used by billions of people worldwide including News Feed, Groups, and Messenger. Most recently, he served as the vice president of Ads and Business Platform where he led engineering, product, research, analytics, and design. He created Facebook’s AR/VR organization in 2017, now called Reality Labs.
