Jillian Donnae

Jillian supports Cesium's development in Smart Construction, working closely with our partners at Earthbrain to track and communicate priorities for Smart Construction Dashboard and Simulation.
Jillian has expertise in GIS/remote sensing, Landsat imagery processing, and land cover classifications. She earned a BS in Geology and a BA in Archaeology from Millersville University. A common thread in both majors for her was the geospatial aspect: she loved mapping geologic outcrops and archaeology dig sites. This led her to pursue an MS in GIS at Temple University. As part of her studies she collaborated on research about the Mekong Delta region in Vietnam covering a 20-year period of change in agriculture and population shifts.
Before college, Jillian served in the U.S. Army. She was stationed in Germany and deployed to Baghdad, Iraq. Outside of work, she enjoys studying Russian, rollerblading, skiing, road trips, video games, drawing/creating digital art, and hanging out with her cat Gary.
