Janine’s passions for computer science and art naturally led them to pursue Digital Media Design at the University of Pennsylvania. They enjoy writing code to create exciting visuals and experiences, often drawing inspiration from video games. After completing an internship at Cesium where they contributed to CesiumJS, Janine returned to the team to continue working with 3D graphics.

In their last year of school, they became a teaching assistant for GPU Programming, where they gave weekly recitations and supported students through rigorous assignments. They are most proud of their work in GPU Programming, game design, and procedural graphics.
In their free time, Janine enjoys creating digital art and playing video games. Their latest rotation of games includes League of Legends, Final Fantasy XIV and Animal Crossing. They’re always craving a good bowl of poké.
