Cesium at SIGGRAPH 2024
Working at the intersection of computer graphics and 3D geospatial, Cesium has a long history with SIGGRAPH. We’re excited to participate again this year, and the Cesium team will be in Denver, CO, July 28-August 1.

Birds of a Feather Session: ACM SIGGRAPH Cartographic Visualization (CARTO)

This session is organized by our friend Theresa-Marie Rhyne and explores how viewpoints and techniques from the computer graphics community can be effectively applied to cartographic and spatial data sets. Janine Liu, 3D Software Developer, will present, along with Esri and Web3D Consortium.

Birds of a Feather Session: glTF: Innovations in 3D Content Delivery and Use

Cesium will join Leonard Daly (Daly Realism), Alexey Medvedev (Meta), and Eric Chadwick (DGG) for presentations, panels, demos, and attendee discussions on the activities at Khronos in support of 3D content creation, including physics, interactivity, scene building and management, content creation pipeline, and more.

Patrick will present the "3D Asset Interoperability using USD and glTF Working Group Update" and Janine will present, "USD and glTF for Geospatial and Beyond"
