Cesium Releases May 2021

We’ve added updates across the Cesium platform this month, including fixing bugs in CesiumJS and adding support for Linux to Cesium for Unreal. 

CesiumJS 1.81 Release 

CesiumJS 1.81 is now available with various bug fixes. Highlights of the release include: 

  • Fixed an issue where Camera.flyTo would not work properly with a non-WGS84 Ellipsoid. 
  • Fixed an issue where setting the ViewportQuad rectangle after creating the viewport had no effect.
  • Fixed an issue where TypeScript was not picking up type defintions for ArcGISTiledElevationTerrainProvider.

Cesium for Unreal 1.2 Release

Cesium for Unreal 1.2 is now available. With this release, Cesium for Unreal is now supported on Linux, Mac, and PC. 

Other highlights of the release include:

  • Added a dynamic camera that adapts to height above terrain.
  • Added support for Tile Map Service (TMS) raster overlays.
  • Numerous bug fixes
