The Cartographic Visualization BOF explores the interplay between computer graphics and cartographic datasets.
- Gabby Getz of the Cesium team will be speaking there about the latest in Cesium.
CesiumJS BOF
Tuesday, August 14, 10:30am–12pm
ACM SIGGRAPH Theater, West Building, Room 102, Vancouver Convention Centre
The CesiumJS BOF is the Cesium event of the year! The event will also be live streamed, so you can watch even if you can’t make it to Vancouver. Speakers will include
- Gabby Getz, Cesium, will deliver the Cesium State of the Union
- Anselm Hook, Mozilla, will show what he’s built with A-Terrain for A-Frame
- Tamrat Belayneh, Esri, will speak on the interoperability of tiled 3D formats: I3S, 3D Tiles, and beyond
- Dmitri Bagh, Safe Software, will demonstrate how to convert data from various sources into 3D Tiles with FME’s graphical interface
- Vangelis Kokkevis, Toyota Research Institute, will discuss applications in autonomous driving
Autonomous Driving Simulation and Visualization BOF
Tuesday, August 14, 3pm–4:30pm
East Building, Room 10, Vancouver Convention Centre
This new BOF, co-organized by Patrick Cozzi of the Cesium team and Vangelis Kokkevis of the Toyota Research Institute, will cover how how computer graphics and simulation techniques can improve autonomous vehicle testing. See the schedule and speakers.
