We’re happy to announce that Jane Xu has joined the Cesium team. She’ll be enhancing Cesium World Terrain by evaluating and curating new datasets, automating building of Cesium World Terrain, and generating a terrain coverage map.
Jane is an intern from the University of Pennsylvania, where she is studying computer science. She’s also a teaching assistant for the Programming Languages and Techniques I course. She’s passionate about computer programming, tennis, and potatoes. When she’s not coding, you can find Jane tutoring elementary school kids as part of the West Philly Tutoring Project.
She has previously worked on Time2Assemble, an elevated iOS version of when2meet.com; an Android app that plotted glucometer readings for diabetes patients; and ScrappyDo, a website similar in concept to IBM Watson that takes in hardware scraps and recommends recipes for hardware projects.
