Cesium for One World Terrain

Cesium partners with Vantor (formerly Maxar Intelligence) to deliver 3D global terrain capability for the US Army’s One World Terrain (OWT), a virtual representation of the physical Earth accessible through the Army network as a part of the Synthetic Training Environment (STE). Cesium is building the OWT Well Formed Format with Vantor as an extension of 3D Tiles, an Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) open specification that Cesium pioneered.

We've partnered with Vantor to make their amazing 3D data available for members of the government and military to use in Cesium—streamed to the browser as 3D Tiles, ready to fuse with your data, and available today on Cesium ion.
