Ruth Suehle is Director of Community Outreach in Red Hat’s Open Source Program Office, which supports upstream open source software communities and projects. She is also executive vice-president of the Apache Software Foundation and a producer of the ApacheCon conference. Her interests include promoting open source in the video game industry, and she is co-chair of the Free and Open Source Software SIG in the International Game Developers Association (IGDA) and secretary and governing board member for the O3D Foundation. Co-author of Raspberry Pi Hacks (O’Reilly, December 2013) and previously editor of Red Hat Magazine and opensource.com.
