What is Cesium Developer Day Japan?
Cesium Developer Day Japan is a two-day technical event designed for developers and practitioners who want to explore 3D geospatial technologies and digital twins in depth.
This event marks the first Cesium Developer Day held in Japan and takes a developer-first approach to learning, collaboration, and community building.
Developers and practitioners working across web technologies, game engines, AEC, GIS, XR, AI, and related fields will share implementation experiences, real-world applications, and technical insights into using Cesium in practice.
Cesium Developer Day Japan 2026 is grounded in digital transformation (DX) initiatives that enhance quality of life (QoL) in Japan, advances in the aerospace sector, emerging technologies such as 3D Tiles 2.0, and the use of digital twins across diverse domains—from the built and natural environment to underground infrastructure and space
The event consists of two distinct programs, each designed with a different focus:
Hands-on Workshop | August 18
A practical, developer-focused experience centered on implementation and building with Cesium.
Seminar Day | August 19
A conference-style program focused on use cases, emerging technologies, and the future of digital twins.

The Hands-on Workshop is an immersive technical workshop designed for participants who want to build directly with Cesium technologies.
Through practical exercises spanning web technologies, game engines, AI, and 3D geospatial data workflows, participants will gain hands-on experience creating real-world applications.
