Jake Adelgren Joins the Cesium Team as a 3D Software Developer
We’re very happy to welcome Jake Adelgren to Cesium. Jake will be part of the team working on Cesium’s next-generation 3D tiling pipelines, which are being optimized for real-world 3D content and accompanying rich semantic metadata. The next-generation 3D tiling pipelines will offer improved stability and performance and will increase the value and adoption of 3D tilesets built on 3D Tiles 1.1.
Jake comes with seven years of software development experience in virtual/augmented/mixed reality, 3D scanning and virtual tours, audio processing, and application development on Android and iOS. Over that time he's developed a penchant for optimization, and he loves creating programs that are small, fast, and efficient.
Jake graduated from Vassar College with bachelor's degrees in physics and German, with a minor in math.
