Janine Liu Returns to the Cesium Team

We’re very happy to welcome Janine Liu back to the Cesium team!

While still a student at Penn, Janine worked with the Cesium team as an Emerging Technologies Intern, working on CesiumJS, documentation, tutorials, and the Community Forum. Since then, they’ve completed a degree in Digital Media Design and come back full time, now working on 3D Tiles Next. 

3D Tiles Next is the open standard for streaming virtual worlds in the metaverse. Janine will join us in refining the new extensions that make up 3D Tiles Next and bringing its experimental implementation in CesiumJS to production.

Janine is passionate about combining computer science and art to create exciting visuals and interactive experiences. At Penn, they worked as a teaching assistant for the Introduction to Computer Graphics and GPU Programming courses.
