We’re excited to welcome Sam Rothstein to the Cesium team. Sam joins our emerging technologies team, where he will be engaging with the community through building demos, prototyping applications, writing sample code, answering questions on the forum, and creating tutorials for the Cesium ecosystem.
Sam graduated from Swarthmore College with a double major in Computer Science and Mathematics. He has worked as a researcher both at the Computer Graphics Lab at the University of Pennsylvania and in Computational Neuroscience at Swarthmore College. He explored ethical issues with the use of artificial intelligence at EthixAI, an organization dedicated to alleviating algorithmic bias in order to undo systemic racism and sexism in tech. Sam has experience with both motion capture and C++ programming.
Cesium is still hiring! If you’d like to join our emerging technologies team to help build the future of 3D geospatial, check out our careers page.
