Interactive Visualization of Sporting Activities with ayvri

ayvri, originally developed byNICTA, offers interactive visualization of GPS logs for sporting activities. 3D visualizations are built with CesiumJS, with terrain powered by Cesium ion.

ayvri serves sporting events, from the Tor des Géants ultramarathon to the Ultra Trail du Mont Blanc to the Wings for Life World Run. They offer race preview scenes, live-tracking in 3D, and post-race replays, including race-day photos. Events organizers can embed 3D scenes in their own website and apps.

Individual users can also upload GPS track logs (from a smartphone or sports GPS tracker) to be visualized on a 3D map directly in a web browser. They can view multiple GPS tracks at once, synchronize video, photos, and annotations, and share online.
