GSoC Developer Profile - Andre Nunes

We are happy to once again have André Nunes joining the Cesium team as part of Google Summer of Code (GSoC) 2015. If you’ve been a long time Cesium user, you may remember André from his participation in GSoC 2013, where he did an awesome job working on initial KML support.

Building on his previous experience, Andre will tackle native Cesium support for both GPS Exchange Format (GPX) and Shapefiles. Since these formats are unrelated, he’ll be working in two separate GitHub branches:

  • Shapefile
  • GPX

If you have any comments or questions, check out the official discussion thread for the project on the Cesium forum. André will also be posting status updates there as he makes progress.
