As head of people operations, Sam leads us in finding and retaining the best talent. With ambitious goals to build the future of geospatial, Cesium is growing rapidly. Sam ensures that our recruiting efforts are effective and in line with Cesium’s goals of cultivating a diverse, inclusive team.
Sam supports onboarding of new hires for a smooth, successful transition, and encourages team building by selecting great activities and perks.
Sam has experience in human resources at a number of companies but her favorite environment is tech startups. Her work experience extends back even further—since her parents own an Italian Pizzeria in Delaware County, Sam worked in the restaurant industry since she was a child. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications from West Chester University.
Sam loves cats and the beach. Besides Ocean City, New Jersey, her other favorite island is Aruba. She has traveled all over the Caribbean.
