As a software developer on the Smart Construction team, Luke contributes to the development and support of the Smart Construction Dashboard and Simulation production applications in coordination with our partners at EARTHBRAIN and Komatsu.
Luke earned a MS in Computer Science from Drexel University, where he studied graphics, game AI, and deep learning, and was the course assistant for the Data Analysis at Scale course. Luke comes to Cesium from Azavea, where he built cloud-native multi-service geospatial web applications for non-profit, government, and commercial clients as a part of a professional services team of engineers.
In earlier career stops Luke worked at Tesla as a business analyst for electric vehicle manufacturing systems, taught elementary school while studying Mandarin in Suzhou, China, and wrote software for taxes and enrollment in public benefits for a B Corp serving low-to-moderate income clients across the United States.
Luke lives in Philadelphia’s Brewerytown neighborhood near Fairmount Park and Boathouse Row, and enjoys sports, swimming, biking, and reading in his spare time.
