Austin Eng joins the Cesium team
Today we’re happy to welcome Austin Eng as a spring intern on the Cesium team at AGI.
Austin is working on both a bachelor’s degree in computer science and a master’s in computer graphics and game technology at the University of Pennsylvania. Last summer he interned at DreamWorks, and in the summer of 2015 he interned at Disney.
At Penn he was a teaching assistant for the computer graphics course and will be the teaching assistant for a special topics course on procedural graphics. In my GPU Programming and Architecture course, Austin implemented a popular hybrid particle/grid fluid simulation in WebGL. To add to his WebGL experience, he also implemented a GPU-accelerated crowd simulation in WebGL that computes collision-free trajectories for hundreds of agents.
This spring, Austin will contribute to Cesium’s rendering engine and 3D Tiles.
Welcome, Austin!
