Kai Ninomiya joins the Cesium team

Kai Ninomiya has joined the Cesium team at AGI for the summer. Kai is a computer science and computer graphics student at the University of Pennsylvania, where he developed a massively parallel path tracer in CUDA and a mesh fracturing algorithm in WebCL. Last summer, Kai worked on VMWare’s OpenGL implementation. In his spare time, he writes ray tracers in Rust for fun.

This summer, Kai is working on the Cesium graphics engine and glTF models, including improving performance and robustness.
