As a senior solutions architect, Ryan contributes to Cesium for Omniverse, facilitating an open, interoperable metaverse built on open standards for simulation and digital twins in industrial applications.
Since 2006, Ryan has led the delivery of immersive 3D, VR, AR, web, and geospatial experiences for major transport and built environment projects using a variety of platforms, including Unreal Engine, Unity, Ogre 3D, and Cesium. He brings to Cesium his expertise in real-time rendering engines, modern web app development, 3D modeling workflows and data processing pipelines, rapid prototyping, and user experience and user interface design.
Ryan earned his Bachelor of Information Technology and Bachelor of Creative Industries from Queensland University of Technology. He coaches mountain biking for kids, tinkers with anything mechanical, and enjoys mountain biking, gravel cycling, and sailing.
