Participants Announced for iTwin Activate Cohort Focusing on Cesium and 3D Tiles
The 2025 Bentley Systems iTwin Activate cohort, with the theme of advancing infrastructure with Cesium and 3D Tiles, supports game-changing software at the intersection of infrastructure and the 3D geospatial ecosystem, connecting early-stage startups with experts, experiences, and funding.
We’re proud to highlight the cohort participants, whose work will go beyond their own organizations to empower their users and strengthen the ecosystem as a whole.

AERO AI is a Las Vegas–based startup helping AEC firms, cities, and utilities transform drone imagery, CAD/BIM models, and GIS data into actionable 3D visualizations and AI-powered insights—enabling better planning, design, construction, and management of the built world. Their Simulated Environment for Geospatial Assets (SiEGA) platform integrates a diverse array of 3D technologies within a sophisticated physics engine. SiEGA tiles reality capture data in Cesium ion, streaming it to CesiumJS for web-based visualization.
AERO AI plans to connect SiEGA to Bentley’s broader ecosystem of technologies to create geospatially accurate and fully semantic digital twins to shorten build cycles, reduce rework, and extend asset life.

TheCrossProduct (TCP) is a French startup that develops algorithms and solutions to automate processing of LiDAR data for railways and highways, accelerating 3D model creation and enabling early identification of risks, defects, and compliance issues.
TCP intends to build a new user experience on an iTwin and Cesium frontend, enabling them to serve a significantly larger customer base in the infrastructure operations and maintenance sector.

Jakarto is a startup based in Montreal whose cloud platform for 3D urban data and digital twins solves the challenges of efficiently mapping, visualizing, and managing urban assets—leading to faster decisions, reduced field visits, and better overall asset management.
Jakarto plans to integrate 3D Tiles with their Jakartowns urban mapping platform for improved scalability, performance, and interoperability with industry-leading digital twin solutions.

Amsterdam-based SuperDNA 3D Lab helps organizations overcome the complexity, cost, and fragmentation associated with large-scale 3D digital transformation initiatives. Their solutions ensure interoperability across platforms, reduce time-to-deployment, and support real-time feedback and collaboration. They use 3D Tiles to deliver accurate, interactive digital twins for transportation, smart roadways, and airport environments.
SuperDNA 3D Lab intends to create an end-to-end platform to manage infrastructure assets by connecting Cesium with iTwin Platform’s asset management capabilities.
Through their participation, cohort members will also unlock new use cases and workflows that will help advance the ecosystem and provide input into Cesium’s roadmap to provide a complete platform for the built and natural environment. Recently added Cesium capabilities, including reality modeling and AI-powered analysis and iTwin Platform APIs, make this an exciting time for building rich geospatial applications that enable users to ingest geospatial data, design models, and reality captures.
We can’t wait to see what participants build and will share updates throughout the program.
