ATO Visualizer: Interactive Visualization of Air Tasking Orders
ATO Visualizer is an online application which uses Cesium for interactive visualization of Air Tasking Orders (ATOs). The ATO is a large document that lists air sorties for a fixed 24-hour period, contains aircraft and missions information. The visualizer benefits from Cesium’s support for corridors and geometries. The many aircraft positions are shown using Cesium’s CZML which contains the whole 24-hour period of operations.
ATO Visualizer was recently used in SICOFAA’s Exercise COOPERACIÓN III, a key American multinational exercise with a focus on disaster relief, which was conducted from April 19 to May 2, 2014 in Peru.
ATO Visualizer was developed by Wargaming and Simulation Center of Argentinian Air Force.
