Erixen Cruz

Erixen works on 3D graphics and analytics at Cesium.
Erixen’s experience in wrangling big data helps Cesium extract insights from the wealth of geospatial data that we process every day to deliver valuable analyses to our customers. His passion for applying math to understand data supports our work in Smart Construction and CesiumJS.
Erixen holds two bachelor’s degrees in Physics and Mathematics from Drexel University, where he is also finishing up a Master’s in Computer Science. At Drexel, he worked under Dr. Naoko Kurahashi Neilson on the IceCube Neutrino Observatory. He also worked as a co-op with Engility, a NOAA contractor, at the Geophysical Fluid Dynamics Laboratory in Princeton, NJ, and with Datalogic, a leader in automatic data capture and process automation, in Telford, PA.
Outside of work, Erixen enjoys spending time with his family, dancing salsa and bachata, and learning Korean.
