Alex Gallegos Joins the Cesium Team as 3D Technical Artist

We’re very happy to welcome Alex Gallegos to the Cesium team as a 3D Technical Artist. Alex will be bringing his experience in art and game development to a number of Cesium’s projects, including Cesium for Unreal, smart construction, and our development work in XR.

Alex is a graduate of Drexel University, where he studied Game Design and Production, focusing on serious games. While at Drexel he was part of the team that created Resilience, a serious game designed to raise awareness and foster empathy for refugees that won the Best Student Game at G4C 2020.

Previously, Alex worked in VR and AR development at Wrestler, a content-creation studio in Wellington, New Zealand. You can find more of his work in 3D modeling, technical art, and game development at his website.

We’re still hiring! If you’d like to join us in building Cesium for Unreal or Cesium’s XR engine, check out our careers page.
