Chris Tucker, Geospatial and National Security Expert, Joins Cesium as an Adviser

I’m thrilled to share that Chris Tucker has joined Cesium’s advisory board.

It would be hard to work in the geospatial or national security space for any length of time and not know Chris.

He was the founding Chief Strategic Officer of In-Q-Tel, the CIA’s venture capital fund. He is the Chairman for the American Geographical Society (AGS) and serves on the boards of the United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation (USGIF) and the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC).

Chris and I share a passion for 3D geospatial, interoperable ecosystems, and enhancing national security with technology from all corners of the industry. Chris appreciates exactly how hard of a problem we are solving with Cesium and 3D Tiles and how we are laying the foundation for an ecosystem that the entire industry can build on for years to come.

Chris’s support in growing Cesium’s open platform and serving national security will be instrumental to achieving our vision.

Welcome Chris!
