Erik Andersson joins the Cesium team

Today we’re happy to welcome Erik Andersson as a full stack developer on the Cesium team at AGI. He will play a significant roll in our cesiumjs.com development work as well as contributing to core Cesium development.

Erik graduated from Linköping University in Sweden with an MS in Computer Science and Engineering and an MS in Industrial Engineering and Management. He also did a Japanese language specialization and spent the third year of his undergraduate program studying computer science (in Japanese) at the University of Tokyo. His master’s main focus was on web technology and interactive systems. Before joining the Cesium team he worked as a software consultant on various projects building web applications, from front end to back end, including a Cesium-based application for Vricon. Outside of work he enjoys squash and badminton, travel, reading books, and tinkering with hobby programming projects.
